The Metro
From the perfect urban flat to an idyllic rural retreat, the Metro is clean and simple. The most distinctive feature of this home is the full-size roof top deck, which both keeps the sun off the roof, as well as provides a full 320 sq. ft. of integrated outdoor living space. Whether the Metro is set on an urban infill lot or on rural acreage, the roof top deck can be built out to include a pergola, a roof top bar, a seating group around a gas fire pit, etc… The roof top deck also allows the Metro to be set on a low deck-height flatbed trailer and used for a luxury travel trailer, while still falling under the 13’6” road height limit. What other travel trailer do you know of that allows you to walk on its entire roof? What other travel trailer do you know of that once strapped securely down, allows you to ride out intense storms in comfort?
The Ski Shack:
Reminiscent of vernacular ski houses found throughout the alpine regions of the world, from steep roofs that shed snow, dark colors to absorb the suns heat, and minimal porches, our ski shack looks at home on any snow covered mountain. Perfect for the ski resort adding cottages, or a family compound whose members play in the powder. So if you like your mountain views as much as others like their beach views, this is the ski house for you.
The Lakehouse:
This was inspired by the many inland lakes cottages found through North America that so many of us grew up around and spent our summers on. Medium pitch roofs and gable end porches, topped off with crisp colors, these simple escapes helped form some our best memories and mold us into who we became. Hard-working and fun-loving. A lakehouse is supposed to be a true retreat, however, so at its core is a super-efficient home that keeps its operating costs low, its maintenance requirements even lower, with the only left to do is to enjoy yourself.
The Beach Bungalow:
These Caribbean inspired features utilize the tried-and-true solutions found throughout the tropics. Low pitch roofs to minimize wind shear, wrap around porches to keep the sun off the house and provide ample outdoor living spaces — but with a storm-resistant metal container at its core. In the event that the tropical roofs are lost in a severe storm, the integrated container roof remains intact and keeps the house fully functional and comfortable, a true solace and refuge during the rebuilding process.
The Hunting Cabin:
At first glance, this looks like a traditional mountain cabin that you would find in the hollows of the Appalachians or overlooking a steep crevice in the Rockies. Until you notice the integrated garage for your ATV, and the elevated scouting/shooting deck on the roof, and it becomes clear that this is no ordinary cabin. The Hunting Cabin is dark and warm, it resonates rugged strength and enduring stability, and is the perfect place for the woodsman to become his best self. In addition, the Hunting Cabin can be the basecamp for expeditions that need a garage, working ranches that need that need additional bunkhouses, family compounds that need more individual cabins.
